While doing QA, we noticed that there is a confusion about how to conjugate the verbs in some instances. Please be aware that in Spanish the simple past refers a different meaning than the imperfect past. The MT plugin use to pre-translate using mostly the imperfect past instead the simple past. See the difference and one example below:
Simple past
It describes completed, specific actions with a definite beginning and end (single actions).
Imperfect past
It describes ongoing or habitual actions in the past (recurrent actions), or provides background information
Example:
ST: Scarlett weighed between 5 pounds and was about 18-19 inches tall.
Initial translation: Scarlett pesaba alrededor de 5 libras y medía entre 18 a 19 pulgadas de altura.
Edited translation: Scarlett pesó alrededor de 5 libras y midió entre 18 a 19 pulgadas de altura.
